I thank my parents for raising me in an environment that was full of warmth and caring. They also taught me the art of giving and the importance of it. They showed me how very simple things – like being truly present in a moment with someone else – can become enriching rewards both offered and received. These are the kinds of topics I love to write about.
Our world is fast paced and complicated. It’s full of noise and opinions. Still, it’s often the moments of quiet that bring clarity. Here, its easier to remember what’s most fulfilling – family, friends, and sharing love and joy with those around us whenever and wherever we can.
I’ve had many pursuits over the years, but I’ve been a writer all my life. The poems I wrote as a teenager helped heal me. The songs I penned and performed on various stages around the country gave me a voice to reveal myself. The business plans I scripted allowed me to provide food and a roof for my family. Now my life with my loving wife and children inspires the children’s and adult books I write today.
Writing words continues to be the heart of my expression. With each one, I hope that I can share – and that you might find – something of value.
